Rage at the Apartment Agent
To be be fair the apartment was clean and good value for the price paid. However, the problems started with the booking made with Hotels.com. You would expect that when you put a search for 4 people you would expect the search to provide that. It turned out that we had an apartment that could hold four people but the booking was made for two. This where things started to go wrong, we turned up at the apartment to be told that we had to got to the agents office,several miles away from the apartment, we were also told that an e-mail was sent advising of this. Unfortunately the e-mail was sent to the spam box and therefore this was not seen. Anyway, we got to the agent and picked up the keys, after a lot of upset about the amount of people staying we managed to get back to the apartment. We lost a lot of time with this process and caused a lot of upset for ourselves as well as the agent. At the end of the day you would expect Hotels.com to be the only agent you need to deal with, not another one that is miles away from where you want to stay. If I had not been with Bulgarian speaker I would have been completely lost.
