Really lovely city, wonderful historic site. The hotel was just a few minutes walk from the main centre.
Upgraded on arrival to a huge room with lounge area.

The hotel itself was good and we could see that the owners are working on its improvement. The room was clean and big but there was no hairdryer. The hotel is located next to a schoolyard and 50 teenagers had a party there until 3 am. They were screaming, yelling, singing, throwing rocks on the school roof... It was a horrible experience. We couldn't sleep at all. I called the owner and he called the police. If the management fixes the noisy situation, the hotel would have a bright future.

Macedonia does not accept on line prepared reserva
Apparently, due to corruption, Northern Macedonia has now outlawed on line hotel bookings. The manager has tried to get out of all on line bookings as a result. When I finally got hold of him he had received no notification through Expedia. I am not certain whether he will be paid or I reimbursed. The manager was great though. This is I believe a problem with Expedia. I ran into a similar corruption issue in Albania, and plan on disputing a charge.

It's a great place at the center of Bitola with plenty of room for free parking. We had booked suit apartment for family of five. They probably don't have apartments as big as advertised anymore. So we got a suit (which can actually accommodate 4 persons) plus two extra rooms for same price. It was good for us as rooms for close to each other on some floor.

8/10 Very good

Would try another hotel if staying in Bitola.
They say everywhere that they have 24/7 English speaking staff all year around, which was not true when I stayed. That made the process of check-in and general stay more difficult. One day one of the cleaning ladies came to my room, I asked for her to give me five more minutes more till I leave and she answered and made some gestures as if she has understood and would do some other room first. Then I left and when I returned late almost night I noticed nobody had ever been there to clean the room, no bed or bathroom or anything. The person at the reception didn't speak English either so it made the general stay less easy than one would like. Apparently there was only one English-speaking person on their team when I stayed, with no full-time presence there.
Breakfast was good and fresh and location is centric and in a quiet neighborhood.
