Our inn keeper Caroline was very friendly and accommodating with an early check in as our room was ready when we arrived on the island and were just looking for a place to store our backpacks so we could start exploring beautiful Mackinac Island. Charming Stay at Pine Cottage We had a wonderful stay at Pine Cottage! This charming bed and breakfast is full of character—cozy, clean, and welcoming. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. Breakfast each morning was delicious and a perfect way to start the day. The location is ideal—tucked away just enough to be peaceful, yet an easy walk to downtown and the heart of the island. We loved the views from our room and appreciated the quiet, relaxing atmosphere. If you’re looking for a cute, comfortable place with classic island charm, Pine Cottage is a great choice. Highly recommend!

My first time visiting Mackinac Island and this was the best place to stay. Affordable, fantastic staff, welcoming, cozy, quiet, walkable, and close to arch rock and trails. Had a view of the lake and the rooms were updated and cozy. If you are staying on the island and want the charm of the island away from the noise. Pine cottage is only a 5 min walk from the center of town.
