This is my 3rd stay in 3 years. I have to say, for the first time I left a little disappointed. Our room was right next to bar, was noisy till 11.30pm. The drinks and food were expensive and the breakfast was poor, we left hungry. Cold toast, like stone cold. We sent it back. Fruit and yogurt that are separate menu items came as one dish, didn’t eat it. Pancakes came in a bowl soaked in juice, it was a soggy mess, didn’t eat it. Only one small packet of butter each and no one around to ask for more so left. Dinner was good, small portions but tasty, the supplement of £35 is low, prices have gone up on the items but the supplement has stayed the same for years. Couldn’t get near the hot tub on our first day but managed the following morning. Overheard one couple say they had been in it an hour and a half. You are supposed to spend 15 minutes, that’s a bit short but an hour and half is just selfish. Staff in reception and in the spa were nice and helpful but the waiting staff lacked attentiveness and were not friendly at all. Think we will try a different spa break in 2025. unfortunately Ribby doesn’t offer the same value for money as in previous years.
