The hotel is under construction for renovations. Lobby closed, plastic on the windows, some parts done, other parts not. Even with that aside, the hotel itself has a very strange layout making it tricky to find your way around. The bathroom was the smallest hotel bathroom I have ever seen. They had a rolling barn door because there was no way a regular door would work. While the bathroom was remodeled, the shower floor was stained or just looked gross.

The staff was extremely friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, the exterior was being "redone" so when we returned to the hotel after being out for the day, the closest parking lot to the entry was closed. We had to enter on a lower level, and the elevator was malfunctioning, with a warning light and buzzer on. We reported this to the desk, but it was till not working in the morning. So, we had to carry our luggage several floors down.

Staff was VERY friendly. Room could have been cleaner there was food and drinks in the fridge from previous occupants. Grounds are a little nerve wracking overgrown landscaping and surrounding buildings closed down, people loitering in the parking lot just made us feel a little unsafe coming and going. The lady at the desk was very nice and gave us some helpful tips about the area. Beds were fine. The pool was cold but refreshing. The hot tub was nice. Breakfast is not continental. Unfortunately we had a lot of ants in our room and when we arrived, a tile in the bathroom was on the floor so my husband put it back up in the ceiling. Also it looked like there was drywall mud or paint on the tile in the entryway and in the bathroom. Quiet hotel.
