They were renovating, which they did not mention at all on the site. There was no lounge area, there was a small little door that was very confusing to walk-through to get to the people at the front desk and they were not friendly at all. Everything was a mess in there furniture all over the place. The pool was closed and the Jacuzzi did not work, which was also not listed on their site. The breakfast was grab a bag out the refrigerator, which had nothing but a small water, one yogurt and a protein bar in it. Half the time the door was locked so he couldn’t even go to ask questions. And the front of the building was in the court right across the street from a bunch of homeless people with campers and tents and everything out there it was very scary at night time. I was afraid to leave my car out there, and there was only minimum parking because of the renovation so I parked all the way in the front under a light. I have been at other Sonesta and I love them, but this had to be the worst one ever.
