Always stay there in way to Long Island the building is old but clean. Has plenty of shelter people around. Sitting outside side door smoking. No one bothers anyone. Breakfast is good. But they don’t keep up with amount. They need to check on coffee and maybe cleaning up the food area more often.

Long Island La Quinta
My stay was wonderful. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. There were no issues with the bathroom sinks nor the toilet or tub. TV worked fine. I did have an issue trying to regulate the heating unit but I think it was because I didn't know what I was doing with it.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed. i stayed there a few years ago and I really like it, but this time it was horrible experience. the hotel is used as shelter for homeless people "section 8" i believe its called. i didn't feel comfortable at all. One elevator didn't work at all, for the other one it was super long waiting time. also breakfast, it wasn't good. and on top of this other people were grabbing all the possible food in the plastic bags , i don't know where. the receptionist didn't even stop eating and being on her cell phone when i approached her. as long i like this hotel chain, this location is out of my list forever!!!!

Only problem which was not the Hotel's fault is the elevator was out of order. The company came to fix it but couldn't for that day and the next when we were checking out. We were on the 5th floor and had to drag out luggage down ourselves. However in fairness to the Hotel they did tell us when we checked out had we called and told them we were on the 5th floor they would have send someone to help us with our luggage.

Perfect for what we needed! This is our 2nd or 3rd stay due to family events and it’s our new go to when attending Long Island family events. Its clean, comfy, spacious and allows our fur babies!

Coming back after being away for 3 years i was surprised to see just how much LaQuinta Inn & Suites went down. One elevator was out of service but thays okay. What wasn't okay was the walls were dirty, the hallways had an awful smell as you walked to your room. The room heating system was not working and when called for service, the maintenance person did not seem to thrilled about working on the unit. Once checked in, and in the room thats when we were told that they did not have housekeeping services on the property anymore. Once in the room, we just decided this was not it. Visually looking at the room, cleanliness, comfortability, noise level, was all mind blowing for me. Totally not expected at all. If this will be for housing families, then let it be just for that. Definitely not happy about the stay. Good luck!

After having checked in, we realized that there were people living at the hotel, which we confirmed with the front desk. It was explained to us that there is a housing shortage and that the hotel was being used to house some people. We, as paying guests ($260 for the night) should have been advised prior to booking our stay.

My family was very unlucky to get a room where the door locks were deliberately broken my the previous occupants. Even the emergency master key could not open our room. After making several trips up and down from 5th floor the hotel staff allowed us to take a suite at the same rate as the original room. The suite was very nice and much needed after dealing with the room problem and traffic around the concert venue at UBS.
