Ac sucked bad very warm in the room. The ceilings had black mold growing on them. The was puddles of water from under the ac vents and when staff was told they sent someone to clean it who told us it was because we just came from the beach when we actually had just arrived and checked in. Amazing pools and hot tubs very close to the beach!!

Is in a good location. It's on the beach and several stores and restaurants are within walking distance. The one bedroom with full kitchen was spacious and having our own washer and dryer was a bonus. The place is older and it shows in some of the fixtures. It is normal wear and exposure to salt air. However it was very clean. We plan to go back the next time we are in South Padre.

The property was in a great area but it needs a lot of work really badly run down. Sliding door to the tiny balcony did not lock the bed was very cheap the call it a queen bed but it’s actually two double beds put together

The staff was GREAT! The inside of the hotel could use some work and the bathroom had water damage on the bottom of the door and cupboards. If you’re not worried about a perfect room, the outdoors was well taken care of and the pool was cleaned every day. Isn’t a bad stay for the price.

The accommodations were perfect for our family. We had an excellent stay with the unit having all the essentials we needed. The Staff are all so friendly and helpful with a special call out to Rudy who helped make our stay a pleasant one helping with any questions we had and ensuring we experienced excellent service and comfort. We've been staying at the Royale for 20 yrs they keep saying they are upgraded but we seem to get the same room over and over i dont see any difference my friends always get the nicer rooms this yesr my room had a roach and was lacking kitchen supplies. Proces go up but i dont see any difference in the rooms i stay except for the shower. The living room cuches are old flat i hopnext time i will get domething better nicer i do like staying there if i didn't i wouldn't stay.
