This hotel is a great base for traveling to Schiphol Airport. It’s spacious, with good rooms and a well-organized layout. However, our experience with the parking policy left a bad taste.
We were dropped off by a friend and decided to have dinner at the hotel restaurant. Although the first three hours of parking are supposed to be free, and we stayed well within that limit, we still had to pay €7.50 at the machine. After following the instructions and paying, we addressed the issue with the staff, who told us we should have checked in at reception first. Unfortunately, this was not indicated anywhere.
Despite our complaint, the hotel couldn't refund us, stating that the parking lot is managed by a third party. After some email exchanges, they offered a €7.50 discount on a future stay. Honestly, I’m not sure if I’d want to return just for that.
