Checked in after a long day of traveling. Lug my luggage up to the 4th floor only to find out the key didn't work. Lug everything back downstairs and get new keys. Trudge back upstairs, key works, but the room has not been cleaned - bed was unmade, towels on the bathroom floor, etc. Once again, I haul everything back downstairs and get a new room. Third attempt worked like a charm - room was nice, quiet, and comfortable.
Only thing is that the staff never once apologized for any inconvenience; not even an acknowledgement. A simple, "I'm sorry, sir..." would have been nice.
