Staying in this Property since last couple of years for business travel. Everything is fine about the Property, except the fact that the management is not supportive.. Atleast in my case this time. May be my mistake but things happens and we need to be cooperative.
I tried booking this stay when i was in mainland China but to due to the very common email glitch there, it never completed on my computer screen - - & i always reserve non-refundable booking and pay at the time of booking..
Then when i arrived HK after a week and had flawless Internet Connection, i started the non-refundable reservation again and completed it & paid it.
When I arrived Dubai a couple of days ago and checked-in this Property, i was told that there are 2 Paid Reservations under my name for the same dates and both are paid. I asked them to CANCEL one and refund and check me in on the other one.
Unfortunately they flately refused and said that since i booked with 3rd Party Expedia, therefore i should talk with Expedia only and not from them. And also that i why did i booked through Expedia and not directly with them etc.. I contact Expedia and they says they are trying to contact Property and not been able to get through.
Expedia help said that they are trying to resolve the issue and will revert in a day and then 2 days and then 3 days. And one of my duplicate bookings got cancelled as welll without refund.
now finally, just before my check out, Expedia emailed me that Property didnt approve
