Cool, funky hotel. Super nice staff. Street sounds were too noisy to sleep well. Sheets on bed were a bit too crisp, so they were noisy when we’d turn over/move in bed. But overall a good value for location- and fine for one night.

Just an overnight trip for a show. Pros: The vibe of the building is very hip and trendy. The rooms were great with a nice bright/modern feel even though not very big. Shower was great. Cons: $45 a day for parking seemed pretty high. The pillows and blanket were very thin.

We booked the room for a romantic staycation. It was very chill, didn’t see many people, nobody bothered us or gave us a hard time, very discreet & easy. I liked the low key atmosphere vibe. We were comfortable, but the room was so so small no room for even a suite case really. No fridge or ice buckets & you have to pay $25-$40 a day for parking. Splurge for the bigger suite.

The Moxy was a hip and fun hotel in a perfect location. The staff was friendly, welcoming and very helpful with ideas and locations for activities near by. I would definitely stay there again.

This is a minimalist hotel. The rooms do not contain a desk, iron, ironing board, luggage rack, closet, or coffee machine. I learned after I left that irons are avaiable in a shared iron cabinet down the hall with table top ironing boards. But there are no tables to place it on. There was no soap at my sink, but I was told it was a housekeeping error. It is not a place for a business travelor who needs a place to work and to iron dress shirts and slacks. The HVAC vent is directly above the bed, so it blows directly on you when you sleep. No comforters are provided on the bed, just a top sheet and a thin woven blanket. This hotel is targeted for young counter cultural individuals. They have regular scheduled communal events but they are things like tattoo parlors and tarot card readers. Despite this merketing focus, the few guests I saw at the hotel were anything but young and counter culteral. There is a major disconnect here between management, marketing and guests and I suspect the hotel will suffer for it. Moxy is really more of a high end hostel where you get your own bathroom but everything else is communal. Very nicely designed. Clean and new. Beds were on the firm side and pillows on the thin side. I won't stay there again, but not because it's a bad hotel, but because I expect far more from what they charge and it is clear they are targeting a different guest and demographic by their offerings. Good for communal style. Bad for business travel.

Forced me to fill out a credit card form, and them billed me for the room, after I had paid through Expedia. Loud. And an unkind person at the desk would help me solve the problem about billing.
