One of the best place to experience outdoor onsen at 1800m up in the mountain. Not a lot to do outside winter season if you do not drive. The surrounding is beautiful and an hour drive away from the Snow Monkey Park.

Staff don’t speak any English- I had issues with the fridge in my room and it was impossible to get somebody to come have a look. The restaurant is more like a school canteen, although the food is tasty. The whole place is in a desperate need of a refurb, although the onsen is beautiful and the views are scenic.

部屋に熱気がこもって寝苦しかった
建物の経年劣化は致し方ないと思うが、浴場の脱衣場などは清掃が行き届いていないのが気になる。せめてマットはもっと頻繁に交換してほしい。全国的に酷暑の季節ではあったが、冷房設備がなく、居室に熱気がこもって夜中も暑く、寝苦しかった。避暑のつもりで行ったが、避暑にならなくて残念だった。
