The room was clean and reasonably well presented. Some paintwork on skirting boards needs touching up, though it was in an area that is likely to suffer a lot of wear and tear, and it did not detract from an otherwise superb stay.
Food was excellent and very enjoyable, though the desert menu was a tad expensive, so we only indulged on one of our four nights (we enjoyed three varied evening meals there). And it should be noted that a service charge/tip is added to each food bill.
The site does not have sufficient customer parking, so we did what most other customers did and just parked in the street.
The staff were helpful and friendly. Location was handy for the beach, and only about five miles from Cromer. For those wanting to travel by public transport, there are excellent bus services from Overstrand to Cromer, Sheringham and beyond, with easy connections to places like Norwich. Overall, a very enjoyable stay, and we would definitely recommend The White Horse.
