Awesome location, clean beds, friendly, BUT…

Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean, but the hotel was a little more dated than I expected. Breakfast was pretty standard. They have s’mores supplies every night, which was fun, but the baskets/napkins where they kept the supplies (the ingredients) looked dirty and looked like the napkins hadn’t been changed for days.

They include bike rental in your stay that you can check out for a couple hours which was alot of fun You can walk to the shops across the street and same with dining options . Great place for families, the indoor pool

Such a disappointment and not worth what I paid.

Apart from one worker, the staff were rude and lazy. The breakfast dining room and outdoor patio were an abomination- dirty tables inside, the water jug constantly empty, zombie-like crew could not have shown less interest in their job. Outside the patio needs resurfacing as the cheap plastic tables all waddle and are unstable.

The staff was friendly and we were able to check in early. Breakfast seemed to have many options. I do not recommend a pool side room. Very loud into the late hours of the night. Rooms were not very clean. Found straws and ear plugs on the floor.

Great balcony view but....

We were looking for a room with a balcony/view of Lake Superior and got it. Small but had nice polywood chairs with small attached table between. Spent a good amount of time there reading, watching ships & boats on the lake, and watching people on the Lake Walk below. However, the rooms are very outdated and worn. The sofa had a slash across the back and was frayed everywhere. One mattress was definitely old and uncomfortable. The elevator made very loud bands and vibrations as it kicked in (there are 3 floors). The staff were friendly and good people.

Loved staying here for a quiet weekend away in February 2025. The rooms are good in size with freidge and coffee pot; clean linens, mirrors, etc. The breakfast is amazing and the pool was super relaxing but being so close to the shops and great food makes all the difference for us when in Duluth and we love the Inn.

Love staying here, the staff is always wonderful, it's clean and very comfortable. Best Hotel in Duluth. Been staying here for over 20 years and hope to be doing so for at least another 20. Excited to see the new renovations they are planning for the end of this year.

People partying all hours of the night even though there's a 10pm quiet policy. Our hotel room was very dirty, dirty sheets, bathroom, shower. The breakfast was wonderful and the staff in the kitchen were very helpful and welcoming! Front desk service was also wonderful! Its location was the reason we booked but the cleanliness of the rooms was awful. We will go somewhere else next time.
