Older hotel in need of renovations with great view
Older hotel that is not evident in pictures online. Furnishings and carpet worn out. Room was not very clean - sliding door had handprints from children and outside had not been cleaned in some time making it difficult to see the ocean view. Fireplace odor in room was very strong. Hair found in sheets when pulled back, but the bed was made. Sink faucet handle did not turn off without some force. Older hotel that really needs updating and especially for the price paid per night. Upon notice to the hotel about the sheets and sliding door cleanliness, the staff was prompt in changing the bed sheets and cleaning the glass door. The maintenance person was very professional and nice. The fireplace odor is standard I was told by the front desk. Something that should be noted online so guests are aware when booking. Ocean view was fabulous, the restaurant was good and staff were great.
However, for the cost and the dated rooms, I likely will not stay here again.
