Amazing hotel and spa in Nagano area. About 30mins by bus from Nagano Station to Kandabashi station. Then 2min walk to the hotel. Hotel has an onsen which is great! Lobby has drinks and snacks at different times of the day. Includes unlimited soft drinks, alcohol, tea, coffee, water and snacks. Coin laundry with dryer is available if you need to wash clothes. Great view of the mountains from our room.

Well, our plans changed at the last minute and this hotel was the only one in Nagoya with two rooms left. It is massively outdated. I had read other reviews stating that the sparse hallway decor was bothersome, but I did not expect it to get to me. It did. I found this hotel to be soul killing and left before my time was up. Its also way outside the main city so it is isolating.

There is a really nice restaurant on the 1st floor, that I recommend it’s a little expensive (8000yen person) but the quality of the food is very very good. The only downside is that the electric outlet are in the entrance of the room, nothing near the beds
