We stayed here for one night before leaving on a cruise the following day. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I knew the room wasn’t supposed to be ready until 4 so wasn’t shocked when, at 1, it wasn’t ready. The kind valet held our luggage while we waited. Front desk employee told us to feel free to go to the beach, pool, restaurant, whatever.
Checked out the beach (absolutely wonderful) and then had lunch at the outdoor bar/restaurant. Delicious burger & fries and a tasty lobster roll! Servers at restaurant were all quick and nice!
Received a text about 3:40 stating the room was ready. We booked an ocean view through expedia which is what we received. It was wonderful. What a view! Large windows with a slider door to the “balcony” (more like a ledge, but *shrug*). Being able to see and hear the ocean all night was great. Room was nice. Bed as comfy as any hotel. Air conditioner was a little loud, but didn’t bother us.
For dinner, didn’t want to go back to the restaurant (kind of a small menu to eat twice a day) so we checked out the shop. If you want to save money and have delicious food, hit the shop. Amazing cuban sandwich (which they kindly heated). Also a nice little selection of beers and wines. So we enjoyed beer and sandwiches in the room while watching a movie.
For breakfast, shop had a fantastic chorizo burrito & bacon egg cheese bagel (both heated).
Will stay again!"
