We loved the area and the beach. People are friendly. The food was great. Multiple live entertainment throughout the area. It wasn't overly crowded. The beach is clean. The water had little seaweed. There was patrol through the day. We will be back!

The area is so fun, there are plenty of great restaurants, some with live music, and most have outside seating. The nightlife is fun and not crazy or full of young kids. All walkable to each other.

Consider it a laid back, enjoyable vibe from the downtown Ft Lauderdale area. Everyone is friendly, the entire town and surrounding area is walkable, and there's plenty of dining and activities to keep you busy. Not to mention the beach of course!

This is not your crowded 16-24 year old area. It more laid back than Fort Lauderdale and definitely more safe and family friendly than anything in Miami-Dade. Great place for a staycation.
