"Hotel is outdated. Carpet & furniture not very clean. Bed was comfortable. Shower was faulty. Breakfast closes too early at 9am , considering they don’t have any lunch service to operate later. No veg option. Pancake machine didn’t work all 3 days of our stay. No fruit. Front desk was disinterested except for the gentleman (during check-in). They need some training in courteous talk. During checkout when we said “thank you” her reply was “hmm” which was ridiculous!

We spent time the morning we left in the hotel coffee shop, where the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. A really great stay in Anchorage! Close walk to downtown restaurants. "

"The biggest issue with this hotel was the noise. We stayed on the second floor, there was a room above us and we CONSTANTLY heard every movement from the guests in the upstairs room and they happened to be night owls because there was walking and moving all night long making it impossible to get a decent night of sleep (and I'm not a super light sleeper).

"This is NOT an Inn, but a 4bdrm property that has long term renters. Dirty, unorganized, no communication, no staff, nothing as advertised. Front door has a 6 didget code that was never provided, as wifi password requested multiple times. "

"Hotel is in a great location. Looks to be in the process of updating the lobby area. Rooms were comfortable and clean but not particularly spacious or modern. WiFi worked fine. Did not try the breakfast buffet but looked good. Opted for the Snow City Cafe which is an easy walk. Very friendly staff. "

The amenities were top-notch including free guest laundry, pool and jacuzzi, and free hot breakfast, which was one of the best freebie breakfasts we've had in our travels.
