Piraeus is very interesting and busy, but it does get very warm with not a lot of green/shaded space. But there are lovely restaurants and cafes nearby (especially Little Brea Patisserie and Bistro and Porto Grill).

its outside of athens and close to all boats/ferries but it is a lovely city in its own right. well worth the stop here if its before your boat leaving.

marinas is beautiful and its very quick (8mins) to get to the cruise port by taxi, a bit difficult to walk with suitcase

It was an overnight stay waiting for our cruise ship. On return we are staying 3 nights so will be able to explore the area more and we are looking forward to enjoying all the shopping and eating experiences
