Comwell Roskilde
"It was super hot when I stayed and there was only a fan, that didn't quite cut it - but as the area is nice an quiet I could keep the window open. The breakfast was phenomenal over the weekend but dropped somewhat during the week, it was still very nice but not spectacular. There are taps throughout the hotel with cold water - sparkling and still as well as two different top shelf cordials - that was my highlight along with the stunning view over the water from the many different terrasses."

"Attentive staff, excellent amenities, would highly recommend."
Hotel Sørup Herregaard
"Good breakfast, rooms a little long in the tooth, nice old manor house."
MyHotel Taastrup
"Easy & inexpensive way to stay in the area: room was small but sufficient (although it was hot and the AC appeared not to work), and the common spaces fantastic (a great kitchen that is well organized and easily accommodates many users, a big dining/common room with tables, outlets, etc., where I got good work done). The town itself is quiet but very pretty, and it was a great place to recover from jetlag before I moved to the center of Copenhagen for more active travels."
Four Points Flex by Sheraton Køge
"Great overall experience. Location was nice, central to Copenhagen and many southern vacation activities to do and see. We stayed 2 days there so as not to pay the higher prices in the big city and it was an easy liesurely drive to the airport the next day. However, the flight was an international flight at 1500 the next day so you might want something closer for earlier flights. We got spoiled in Sweden having stayed where the breakfast is free. The breakfast offered was modest, comparatively to most and cost money. The convenient thing was that a Netto was right across the street so we grabbed goodies before we jaunted off on local adventures. I recommend a stay here because they also provided bikes to use to see the local scenery."
Taastrup Park Hotel
"The breakfast was pretty decent.Dining area was clean and well kept.Staff was pleasant"
Scandic Roskilde Park
"We stayed here one night before our flight. Nice clean hotel right next to a little lake surrounded by a walking trail."
Wittrup Motel
"We stayed 2 nights. The room was spacious, but pretty basic. We are at Sally's both nights. The staff were lovely and helpful. Unfortunately their superiors, not so. I had emergency surgery 2 years ago, as a result I cannot eat a full portion. I asked if they did a half portion and was told no. I ordered the Caesar salad with chicken slices. I managed half of the chicken and about 20% of the salad, which was mainly lettuce, with some cheese and croutons. There was no reason why they could not have done a quarter portion!! How difficult is it to put half a dozen small lettuce leaves on a plate with cheese and less than a handful of croutons!! What annoys me the most, is the goal waste of food. When so many people in the world are starving, yet companies give no consideration."

- Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate due to various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates may help you find a more favourable rate for your stay at a hotel in Ringsted. If you're in search of a distinctive experience, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised touch and sometimes offer better value. When you make a booking through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. - Consider your location: Opting for accommodation closer to major attractions or city centres may offer convenience, but it often comes with a higher price tag. For those seeking more budget-friendly options, it may be worthwhile to consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and accessibility to the sites you wish to visit.
