"Phoenix’s best selling point is its location. The staff are very helpful and friendly, the rooms are nothing special, the bathrooms/showers are on the smaller side. The breakfast buffet was pretty good. You have to pay to park (that’s anywhere in Copenhagen) and it costs about $50 USD per day. The biggest issue we ran into was upon check-in where we had to switch rooms twice because it was clear they weren’t cleaned very well before we arrived. Stains on mattress covers and sheets as well as hair and crumbs in the sheets, suggesting they weren’t changed between guests. I expected more from what is considered a 4 star, luxury hotel but I don’t necessarily feel it’s a bad deal. The locations truly is very centralized and great to be your hub for your vacation."

"At the heart of the city, everything is within walking distance, including the short walk from the train station so you can wheel your luggage. The is a beautiful property with rooftop restaurants and views with path through carefully groomed gardens and over the canal to the downtown core where your sightseeing, culinary whims, gardens, shopping and castle/museum hopping begin. Strolls by the beech on the walk back to hotel with plenty of outdoor cafes by the marina and canals. The property staff are so happy and pleasant. The breakfast is unreal and the views are spectacular - go Sweden - wow! No wonder everyone is so peaceful and happy and respectful - if you are picky, a complainer and have ridiculously high expectations … this property is for you. Just smile and enjoy. Good luck finding something that makes you unhappy - I dare you LOL!"
