Loved everything about Nice . The hop on bus is well worth doing to see more than just the Promenade . It also visits Villefranche sur mer. Nice is also in a good location to venture further afield and visit Antibes , Cannes and the unmissable Monaco

We loved being in Nice . We very much used it as a base to explore other areas of the Cote d'Azure, and this all worked very well indeed. Prior to our stay in Nice, I had booked a day trip, and that all worked like clockwork. Would love to go again.

Thoroughly enjoyed the sights and choices of food in Nice. From the museums to the bakeries and restaurants, with the beautiful Mediterranean nearby can't be beat. And a quick hop on the train to other famous locales such as Cannes, Monaco, etc.

Nice is very walkable and has a great bus and tram system. Convenient hub for traveling in the region to visit Villefrache sur Mer, Menton, Grasse, Antibes, etc. Nice has added gardens throughout the city over the years. Lovely place.

Nice is as an extraordinary must-see place. Charming and vibrant old town, with beautiful architecture and tons of fantastic restaurants. Beautiful promenade plus nice pebble beaches (although I prefer sandy ones). Amazing place.

Old town Nice has food and bar scene to entertain the young with architecture, location and age for all to appreciate. With its Greek, Roman and French heritage, there is something familiar on every street.

The Marc Chagall Museum is worth a visit (time to avoid queues, especially whilst other art museums in the city are closed in 2025.) Lovely Old Town. Great for day trips to Monaco, Antibes, Cannes etc.

Be very wary of pickpockets especially on the trams. We didn't even know we had been targetted until receiving a text from the bank suspecting fraudulent use of the card.

Such a relaxing and pleasant experience, great walking and cycling on the whole sea front, the atmosphere was exceptionally welcoming, what a super place.
"The hotel was a block away from the beach and a block away from Palace Messa- great location! The hotel was also super clean, nicely decorated, very nice staff. I would highly recommend to anyone "
"Lovely stay in a great location! The hotel is clean, well maintained, and very convenient for getting around the city. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Nice "
"I have such mixed feelings about this hotel. On one hand it’s gorgeous and unquestionably a must stay at least once. Gorgeous. Magnificent. Beautiful. Some
Staff (in particular when we checked in on July 29th) is phenomenal and very professional as well as in the Chantecler Restaurant as well as hotel bar on the premises with all around staff completely superb…
Want to single out Ricardo for creating nothing short of a special experience for anyone who walks into the restaurant! But front desk and valet service is spotty, for hotel at this price point people could be more accommodating, professional and kinder! Please please be careful using the elevator it has two doors and not one and the glass door is very clean and if you are mildly distracted you can get really hurt. My kids found it found but I walked straight into the glass door and broke my nose. It hurt a lot. Thankfully it’s not disclosed. In the U.S. they would certainly put stickers on glass this clear. I am fine but someone could get really hurt. An older person or a child!
Just beware.
Oh the papillon suite we were in was gorgeous.absolutely indescribable. Overall we highly recommend this hotel just be careful in elevator and enjoy the history and the magic! "
