Wonderful Birthday Get Away
Well, I stayed at this DT by Hilton on Saturday, 12/14 and stayed for just the night. I experienced an excellent arrival in which I was greeted from the time I got out of the car, to the front desk clerk. Which by the way in small conversation, I learned she had not been working there more than two weeks. I.Was.Stunned. This young lady was handling a holiday rush like a professional. Super sweet and although she had just dealt with a nasty S.O.B., it did not spill over into our interaction. That young lady is a GEM! The grounds were clean and I ordered chicken tenders and pizza from the laguna bar for dinner. It was good, I just wished they would have fried the fries instead of air frying. The staff were super kind and accommodating. I felt so comfortable asking questions. The pool bar was nice and chill. Bar tender was super accommodating and really knew how to deal with customers. I enjoyed the wonderland decor and holiday music playing throughout. I really felt welcomed at this resort and comfortable even as a solo traveler. I truly wish I would have extended my stay for my birthday. I can't wait to get my coins up to visit again! See you soon

- We came on business trip, We had heavy bags and were set up in a building with no elevator. - No Bodywash, requested still didn't get till last day of our stay. - Shower was rusted - Bathroom was too small but I understand that is the design. This hotel is listed for my and my wife's organization which are largest healthcare organizations in US (Commonspirit and HCA healthcare). We expected to share positive feedback Front desk mentioned me that they can refund partially but haven't seen yet.

Needs improvements will not be staying there again
Upon checking in everything was going good, it was not until the end of our stay we had a couple checking in late. Smoking marijuana when I informed the front desk they said the would send security a hour went by and nothing so I had to let the know again by this time it was 2:30. We had a flight to be at 8:00 am so needless to say we got no sleep.

Honestly, the stay was OK. Beds were comfortable. They definitely need to upgrade their bathroom the toilet the showers definitely need a remodel. The room was humid and there was two moths coming out of the bathroom not sure if it was due to the humidity. Also, I did not appreciate the unclear fees that the hotel charged such as the parking resort fees, state, and county tax.
