I enjoyed a three night stay at Citadines Pearl Hotel. I chose it for the beach location and enjoyed my room with an ocean view. My room was clean, spacious and as described on the web site. I enjoyed the combination wood bathtub / shower in my bathtub. The breakfast buffet had a large selection, I think the pastries could have been a bit fresher or higher quality. I also noted trash at the hotel’s section of the beach. A great aspect of my stay was that the staff at the hotel were fantastic. They were friendly, knowledgeable and very eager to help me and ensure that I had a great stay. They provided suggestions for visiting and shopping in Hoi An and coordinated spa services for me.

The property is kind of off the beaten path from anything but it was a large complex and very self contained if you weren’t into exploring the actual city. There were a ton of amenities and this appeared to be a terrific hotel if you were traveling with children. It was not the vibe my trip was going for but it would be great for a family with young kids. The room was large and had a nice useable balcony. Very quiet facility and the breakfast was very diverse in its options and tasty. The beach area looked to not be super swimming friendly but we did visit while it was stormy out so that may have been why. Good price and the beds were comfy. Also the gym was incredibly well equipped. Good stay if you’re looking for a more all inclusive type feel with lots of options on site for things to do.

We loved the pool area and the beach. It’s great for adults and kids, with great playground and waterslides. There is a poolside bar with snacks and light meals. Our room was modern and comfortable. Our only critic the lack of cooling aircon at breakfast in dining room. Staff were generally pleasant and helpful.

We were treated like family
We have just had the most beautiful holiday in Vietnam with my mother and our two young boys. It saddens me to read any bad reviews on the Citadines because they treated us like we were their family. Ok so first thing out the way- yes the place is very quiet, not much going on and lots of empty shop units. It’s facing an abandoned hotel project and I guess it can seem a bit bleak. But I can’t focus on that when the hospitality at this hotel was so superb. James the manager came down to meet us on check in because we were staying for an unusually long time, and he upgraded us from the 3 bedroom apartment we booked to a 5 bedroom 4 bathroom villa with a private pool. As part of the free upgrade he also gave us free spa vouchers to use every single day for the duration of our stay and we also had free laundry every single day- washed dried and pressed bought to our door. All for free. We used the pools (including the big main one) every single day and walked regularly along the huge expanse of beach to eat at local restaurants which had vegan places too. I think most people only stay in Hoi An a few days. What a shame to do that! There is so much to do around the area you should stay for at least a week to enjoy everything there is to see and do. If you’re a family and don’t want to stay in the busy centre of Hoi An which gets a bit much then this has to be worth a try for you- we felt so welcomed and James we can’t thank you enough for everything you did for us xx

Lovely hotel for a chilled stay
Lovely hotel, the staff were amazing, friendly and very helpful. It’s a big complex but felt quiet whilst we were there. We booked a large room and had an issue late one night; they didn’t question us and moved us immediately despite the time. The air con is needed on all night which can be quite loud but the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable

good to relax
We stayed at the hotel a little bit too long considering that the hotel doesn’t have much to offer and is outdated. A huge resort that has seen better days but after a tough Covid period it doesn’t look much alive and in the evening it looks like a ghost town. Perfect location in front of the beach, quiet area to relax but also a lot of space for children. We were welcomed by a young, kind receptionist who speaks very good English which is rare in Asia. She showed us around the premises and explained everything. Very friendly staff. The hotel offers free laundry (4 pcs per day) and free minibar once a week and free shuttle to Hoi A town, which is a nice service. The superior king-size sea view rooms are big enough and have perf view. TV needs more English channels or smart TV to connect our accounts. The conditioning works as it should and it is quiet. The housekeeping ladies are doing a great job and really helpful. A weird smell in the corridors when we walked to our room. The pool is huge and nice but the water slides need to be replaced, they are old and dangerous to walk up because the steps are so small and slippery. No slides at the children's pool The beach/pool bar is a joke. It doesn’t have the beach vibe and it doesn’t look welcoming to sit and enjoy a drink. It needs a serious renovation and the menu could have more variety. Breakfast area is huge made specifically for the Chinese crowds. Fab hotel with lovely pool area and right on the beach . Wonderful location. Easy to walk into An Bang where there are many bars and restaurants. Short taxi ride into wonderful Hoi An which was a delight. Our room was lovely with the best most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept in . Also a great laundry service . Huge choice breakfast . We had a great stay at this very reasonably priced and very comfortable hotel.

Nice stay but like ghost town
This is a massive resort and sadly was like a ghost town while we were there. The spa facility is amazing and reasonably priced. The pool is also large and nice to be around. However there was not many people staying for such a large resort, you can tell they are struggling to maintain the grounds. We ate dinner at the restaurant once and the only ones there. Reception staff were friendly but other staff not so much. Easy to get to Ancient Hoi An town. Door out to balcony could not be opened although I never asked either. They only issue one key, which was inconvenient. Buffet breakfast was ok.

Beautiful property, lovely variety of food offered at restaurant, buffet breakfast for delicious, service staff at the resort were lovely especially at restaurant, everyone so lovely and helpful. We had a late check in kitchen was closing and staff organised room service so our family could have a late dinner as we were so tired from travelling, the pool at resort is amazing just gorgeous, pity lots of shops and businesses closed, lots of empty shops but didn’t bother us really it’s 15 min drive to old town, easy to get taxi or grab, day spa facilities were lovely.

Wonderful hotel, we loved our stay there. We were upgraded to a 2 bed apartment as the pool was closed for our first couple of days, the apartment was spotless, everything looked new, 2 big bedrooms and 2 bathrooms living room/ kitchen diner in one and a lovely sea view, the breakfast was really good with lots of choices and the little cafe on the site does excellent food and drinks. Seems like there were a few places closed but this did not affect our stay, lovely helpful staff and easy to get into town using grab taxis, would definitely recommend staying here we had a great time.
