The young man who checked me in was really nice but the property is outdated, overprices and I found flees in the bathroom. Would not recommend.

Not a problem for us, but some might not like the dog that the owners had on the property, also… a bunch of moths came into our room through our screen. The people I was traveling with were not very happy about this…

Redwood Cabins is an older group of 1 bedroom cabins. It was particularly hot, 89, when we went in July and there is no air conditioning. However, the temp was 40s at night and with the windows open, it was very nice and comfortable. The scenery is absolutely beautiful.

Unhappy
We reached out to the property owner about a massive forest fire in the area and they would not let us cancel our reservation. They would not take into consideration the warnings and inaccessibility to the surrounding area. We asked if we could postpone and come at a later time. No. Could we get a percentage back? No. A little compassion would have gone a long way.

Hot, old, uncomfortable
The room was clean. Very old and worn blankets. The handle came off the very old fridge door. No air conditioning, just one small fan. The windows had been opened prior to our arrival to cool the room a little but didn't help. The room was definitely not worth 350 for one night.

We loved redwood cabins and our short stay there! The view is incredible with the sawtooth mountains in the distance and the river running right behind the cabins. It was perfectly located just outside downtown Stanley where we could take a five minute drive to the great restaurants. There’s also a wonderful companion to the cabins that was one of our highlights of the stay, a cute dog named Titus who was so calm and loving.overall great stay and we’ll definitely be coming back!

The owner Greg is super about the area and was a great resource for finding activities to do. The resort is clean and well kept. The scenery around the resort is beautiful. 5 Stars.

Loved the river front grass Lawns! My wife and I sat out there every day and watched the pronghorns, cattle, swallows and a bald eagle!

The "Redwood Cabin" is a cinder block building painted red. The screen was missing from the door so there were a lot of flies in the room, there were also several ants running around. There were no curtains on the front door window and on the bathroom window. I would never have stayed if I had seen actual pictures. At half the inflated price it would still be a significant rip-off.

2/10 Poor

Bad experience
This resort posted pictures of a roomy area, when in fact, it sits on the side of the highway with no walking room and no privacy. The pictures make it looks like there is an area for a fire pit, not true. The owner has a random large dog running free around the property, jumping on people, etc. The actual cabin was not correctly depicted in the advertisement and there wasn’t even a dead bolt on the door, so it felt unsafe. The amount of money this resort charges is astronomical for what you get. I would not recommend.

The river view and chairs made the stay! We were in a cabin with a window that would not shut so that led to a few cold nights. The bed was very comfortable and the goat was very friendly. Great location!

The deadbolt on the door was removed and the the hole was covered with one piece of duck tape. Anyone could have come in the room. There are cobwebs in the windows and one of the windows is broken.
