Eh...it was just fine
Beds were amazing, super comfy and soft. The housekeeping said we couldn't have hand towels because they weren't available, the laundry service being backed up. There was a TERRIBLE plumbing/dragging/ drilling sound from the floor above that woke us up two mornings around 6:30am. The front bell desk was rude and didn't explain the check in procedures us, only informing us to "check calling back" to see when our room was available. The rooms were big, clean, and comfortable.

Horrible noise and a poor housekeeping
It is dated. I spent an extra $5 to updated. The room size was decent and the bath tub had some stain and cracks. The housekeeping was not done professionally, dirty used Q-tip and a toothpaste from a previous guest were found in the bathroom. The bd linen had some mold stain yet no bedbugs which is good. The worst part was the biggest noise from the the next room. The shower noise was non stop between 2:30 to 3:30 am which I felt like they were using it right next to my bed. Horrible. I was on my business trip and needed to wake up at 5 am and it really ruined my sleep.

AVOID the Luxor
It's about one mile of walking to get to room, to food, to anywhere. Rooms are noisy, no fridge, no microwave, 4 hangers, and smelly. Food is EXPENSIVE; one tea, soda and water was $40. Food court items are old, horribly tasting and HIGH priced. No other good food selection in hotel. AVOID THIS HOTEL!!!

Was delightfully surprised how nice the Luxor was. Rooms was spacious, clean and beds comfortable with exception of hard pillows. Fun location on the strip. Long check in time so make sure to checkin via the MGM Ap. Self parking a bit far from entry but bellhop service was quick and helpful. No mini fridge in room which was the biggest disappointment.

Smelled like sewage, terrible amenities
Paid for an upgraded room in the tower, "premium" room. Unfortunately on the 1st floor of the tower and view was of an alley and wall. First night there, water shut off 1am-5am. No fridge in room, you had to RENT ONE from the front desk if you wanted that. Elevator, hallway and room intermittently smelled like raw sewage/septic. No one would answer phone at front desk and lines so long to get up there, not worth it for us to wait. Just tried to make the best being out of the room. Don't try to save the money, go elsewhere.

Nice enough place to stay, hidden fees.
It was nice place to stay, and is a stop on the monorail which is nice. I feel like I was takem with hidden fees, resort fees, taxes. I used the mgm rewards app to check in and have the room key on my phone. It said to upgrade for $5 it went up 56 plus other fees that were not originally posted
