This is a no-frills or bells and whistles hotel, but the rooms are comfortable, the front desk is pleasant, the continental breakfast is nice, and everything is clean.

Rude and disgusting
We could not stay at hotel. Stink bugs all over room. Jennifer at the desk VERY rude. No other hotel in area available because of parents weekend at Washington and Lee. No manager on site. No maintenance on site. Had to sleep in car and shower at son’s fraternity house. Horrible experience!

Rooms open directly to the parking lot. Several times I exited to people smoking right outside my room. Some were smoking and talking at 1:30 in the morning right outside my window. The beds were great. the sheets were nice and pillows worked.

The property was delivered "as advertised". However, it was not mentioned a major renovation was in progress and what the needs (deficiencies) the renovation was addressing. The lack of an elevator was a minor annoyance. For the money and what our need was, it was sufficient. Given options in the future, I would probably opt to spend a bit more money and have substantially nicer facilities.
