The hotel itself was very clean and charming, and I'd like to think my experience was an anomaly, but it was extremely understaffed the night I was there. The same man (who was clearly trying his best, so I don't fault him) seemed to function as front desk receptionist, waiter, and cook. I waited over 10 minutes to check in because the front desk wasn't staffed; it turned out the man was tending to the guests in the dining room. Dinner was also obscenely overpriced for a poorly cooked, dried out chicken breast. Finally, a fuse blew when I was there, leaving me to navigate my room with my cellphone flashlight all night. I also couldn't charge my phone, so I had to keep it on battery saver and charge it in the car the next morning. There was no staff member around at night to ask about the blown fuse, but they restored power the next morning. Overall, a disappointing stay because of staffing reasons. Hopefully they improve on that.
