Arran is an understated island gem and we’d chosen deliberately to rent somewhere relatively quiet but near to a small town or village. Little did we know just how well we’d chosen. Our characterful cottage had been converted and appointed to a very high spec - and, thanks to an ingenious extension, proved tardis-like to be much roomier than might appear at first blush from the outside. Everything was new and spotless and it was a real delight to enjoy a four-night stay there. The cottage is situated a couple of miles from the beautiful village of Blackwaterfoot - itself another island highlight. Give yourself a treat 😀.
