We booked this apartment because it was advertised as newly renovated, modern, and centrally located in Riga’s Old Town. Unfortunately, the reality was completely different.
Upon arrival, we were moved without any notice to a completely different apartment near the train station – a noisy area far from what we had booked. The replacement apartment was old, worn down, and in very poor condition. Wallpaper was peeling off in several places, and overall it was nowhere near the standard that had been promised.
This felt like misleading advertising, as we paid almost DKK 8,000 for something entirely different from what we actually received. It left us feeling deceived, and it ruined a large part of our stay in Riga.
I cannot recommend this host or property at all.
