"Great hotel in a good location. Clean modern rooms, spacious and comfortable. Good breakfast choice. Pleasant and friendly staff."
Holiday Inn Manchester West by IHG
"Lovely welcome from friendly staff . Everything was lovely and clean . We ate in the hotel Friday evening and the food was excellent . Breakfasts also excellent . Parking was a real bonus and it was only a 20 minute walk into the city centre . Only downsides were the lift waiting for replacement and you could hear every noise from the room up above which was very disturbing at 3-5 am on the Sunday morning . Otherwise we had a fabulous stay and would definitely recommend ."

- Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Salford is during January, February, and August, when hotel prices may drop to lower prices. To fully appreciate Salford's landmarks, historical sites and cultural attractions — including sports, museums, shopping, and dining — a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended. This budget-friendly trip offers great value for money for those travelling on a budget, ensuring a memorable exploration of Salford's rich heritage and vibrant culture.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: On Hotels.com, you may discover attractive hotel deals in Salford by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window section. If you're planning a spontaneous trip, the Last-Minute Deals area could offer timely discounts on accommodations. For a more informed decision, use the Smart Shopping tool available via the app to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you are promptly alerted to any price drops or availability changes.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices can vary depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your dates may help you save on your stay in a Salford hotel. For those seeking distinctive experiences, boutique hotels may offer a more personalised experience and sometimes better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average; if it appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest alternative, more affordable dates to help you find a better deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre generally tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Salford's excellent public transport connections, you might discover a more affordable independent hotel further out that remains well-connected. For those wishing to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money, offering a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
