Loved the stay with a lot of character but if you are thinking 5 star it’s not. Building is old with creaky floorboards and heating comes on at 7.30 and it probably would be noisy if accommodation was full. It suits seniors who like quaint and nostalgic. Breakfast room was lovely and we used the cozy sitting room. Owner/manager friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable and matched with the style of accommodation. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at the Ellstanmor Guesthouse for two nights with our friends. The location was on a quiet street just a couple of blocks walk from the center of town. The rooms were clean and cozy. Breakfast was included and offered a variety of breads, fruit and cereals. Our host was very helpful and accommodating.

Lovely old creaky timber house. We received a lovely welcome; great location however the bathroom needed a vac and the sheets were not fresh :(.

The host,David,,was extremely helpful and considerate.The accomodation had a particular old world charm and we loved it, so much to say it was the most charming and different stay of our whole trip.The inclusion of breakfast was most welcome and appreciated.

Excellent value for money. Old well-kept guesthouse with plenty of parking in front and behind. Excellent continental breakfast included in spacious dining area. No mainstream TV in individual room but that was no major drama. Our host was very pleasant and attended promptly to all requests. Most enjoyable stay.

Our stay was very pleasant. We walked to dinner and shopping. Our room was nice but I would have liked a place for our towels that was not over the toilet! I loved the dining room with the breakfast set up and the supply of crockery etc.

We enjoyed our stay here. The owner went out if his way to be helpful, including working out where we could park our vehicle and trailer. The included breakfast was a special treat. It is close enough to the town centre that we could walk. We would stay there again if we are ever passing through
