Holiday Inn Express Huangshan Mountain South Gate By Ihg
"The room was very clean, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Overall, the service was good, and the breakfast tasted quite good as well. However, there was one issue that left me somewhat disappointed. After having breakfast one morning, I developed diarrhea. Although I cannot say for certain that it was caused by the breakfast, I did not eat anything unusual that day other than the breakfast, so I was concerned that it might have been related to the food, especially the desserts, which may not have been fresh or properly stored. I reported the situation to the front desk and hoped that they would take my concern seriously and at least express some concern. Unfortunately, instead of apologizing or showing concern, the staff repeatedly suggested that I might have eaten something cold and that this was the reason I became sick. I found this response rather disappointing. I am not trying to unfairly blame the hotel. I simply hope that the hotel will take guests’ concerns seriously, especially when they involve food safety. Even if the exact cause cannot be determined, I believe it would be appropriate to show concern, offer an apology, and carefully check the quality, freshness, and storage of the breakfast items. I hope the hotel will strengthen its management of breakfast foods, especially desserts, to prevent similar incidents from happening in the future."

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Breakfast had a good variety of Western and Chinese options. Would definitely stay here again. --- Would you like me to adjust the tone or add any specific details (e.g., views, parking, airport proximity)?"

- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your dates could help you find a more favourable rate for your stay in a Huangshan hotel. For those seeking something a bit different, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If it appears to be on the higher side, we can suggest alternative dates that might help you find a more appealing rate.
- Consider your location: Opting for accommodation closer to major attractions or city centres may offer convenience, but it often comes at a premium. For more budget-friendly options, you might consider hotels situated in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between price and accessibility to the sites you intend to visit. Exploring independent hotels located further afield can also yield a more authentic and cost-effective experience, as they usually tend to be cheaper.
