"The hotel is very nice, room clean with a lovely view of the lake. Food and drinks in the bar were very good with a nice atmosphere The spa was very disappointing though as the pool was far too cold and most of the spa type features (jets etc) were not working. Also we mistakenly left an item in the room which the hotel staff told us was not handed in which is again very disappointing when staying at an upmarket hotel."

"Front desk staff were great. Room was fine. Stayed as a family of 4 in one room, the main bed was fine, but the sofa bed small and creaky for 2 boys aged 6 and 10. Manageable for 1 night. Bar staff, drinks and food, just what we needed after a long day."

Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available via the app helps travellers compare hotel prices and amenities, so if a room becomes available or the price drops, you could find a great opportunity to book a last-minute getaway.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your dates could help you save on your stay in a Stroud hotel. For those interested in unique experiences, boutique hotels may offer a more personalised experience and occasionally better value. Should the price be on the higher side, we may suggest more affordable dates to help you potentially secure a better deal.
  4. Consider your location: Staying closer to major attractions or city centres may offer convenience, but it often comes with higher expenses. For more affordable options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and accessibility to the sites you wish to visit. You might also look into independent hotels located further out, which are usually more likely to be affordable and can provide a more authentic experience.
