Jewish Quarter
Córdoba's Jewish Quarter whisks you back to medieval Spain through winding cobblestone alleys and whitewashed buildings with wrought-iron balconies. The 1315 Synagogue stands as Spain's best-preserved Jewish temple, while hidden courtyards adorned with ceramic tiles reveal themselves around each corner. Artisan workshops display traditional crafts as you wander through this atmospheric pedestrian-only zone. Traditional Andalusian tavernas serve local specialities like salmorejo and flamenquín throughout the quarter. Boutique hotels in converted historic buildings offer authentic accommodation with interior courtyards. The entire quarter is traversable in 15 minutes on foot, though uneven cobblestones require careful stepping.
Distrito Centro
Distrito Centro captivates with its cultural tapestry, dominated by the majestic Mezquita-Cathedral. Cobblestone streets weave through the medieval Jewish Quarter, unveiling hidden plazas and flowery patios. The Roman Bridge arches gracefully over the Guadalquivir, glowing golden at sunset, while local tabernas serve delicious salmorejo and tapas. Boutique hotels inhabit converted palaces with charming courtyards throughout this walkable district. Pedestrian-only streets enhance exploration, with mornings offering the quietest experience. As night descends, intimate tapas bars and passionate flamenco venues provide perfect closure to days spent traversing centuries of Andalusian heritage.

San Basilio
San Basilio showcases Córdoba's rich heritage with its UNESCO-protected medieval Moorish architecture and flower-filled patios. Wander through narrow, cobblestone streets where brilliant white-washed walls contrast with vibrant blue flower pots and wrought-iron balconies. The neighborhood's crown jewel is the Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos with its stunning gardens, while nearby Royal Stables offer a glimpse into Andalusian history. Traditional tavernas serve local specialities like salmorejo between sightseeing adventures. Most of the area is pedestrian-only, making it perfect for exploring the maze-like streetscape on foot. Boutique hotels in converted historic homes provide authentic lodging options with traditional Andalusian courtyards just minutes from Córdoba's city centre.

Vial Norte
Visitors love Córdoba's Vial Norte neighbourhood for its bars and restaurants.

Córdoba Old City
Córdoba's Old City is a dreamy time capsule where three cultures left their mark on every stone. Wander through the Mezquita-Cathedral's forest of red-and-white arches or get lost in the Jewish Quarter's flower-draped alleys. The ancient Roman bridge offers perfect sunset views while hidden plazas reveal unexpected treasures around each corner. Traditional tabernas serve up mouthwatering salmorejo and oxtail stew between siesta breaks. Most attractions sit within a 10-minute walk of each other, making exploring on foot a breeze. Boutique hotels in converted palaces let you sleep surrounded by centuries of history.

The Roman Bridge offers sunset views that explain why this ancient city earned World Heritage status. Wander whitewashed alleys in the historic quarter, where flower-filled courtyards hide behind unassuming doors during the famous Patios Festival. "Great"
NH Collection Palacio de Córdoba
"Outstanding hotel located right by the attractions. Staff was extremely helpful and willing to listen to our specific needs! Rosario at the front desk is the best!"
Hotel Mezquita Center
"Excellent service all around. I highly recommend it to everyone."
Eurostars Azahar Hotel
"The staff was absolutely wonderful. I had a minor shower issue on my final day, thankfully it did not impact my stay. This hotel is perfectly located and I would very much recommend this hotel to others."
Las Casas de la Judería de Córdoba
"Wonderful small hotel at start of the old town. Great pool and aircon in rooms was good as very hot area. There were little lounge areas where you can sit as a group which is great"
Hotel Casa Museo de la Mezquita
"The art is beautiful and the staff are helpful and available 24/7!"
H10 Palacio Colomera
"Everyone was very helpful and kind. Hotel rooms and bed were superb. Front reception staff were excellent. The only weakness was the breakfast which was bland and quite basic compared to everything else."
Parador De Cordoba
"I’ve always wanted to stay in a Parador, Spain’s state-owned collection of luxury hotels, many housed in historic buildings or exceptional locations — so expectations were high when we booked the Parador de Córdoba. Thankfully, it didn’t disappoint. The setting is superb, overlooking Córdoba with beautiful gardens & wonderful views across the city. The hotel was clean throughout, the staff were friendly and accommodating, & the plentiful free parking was a real bonus. The highlight was the huge swimming pool, set within the private gardens at the front of the hotel. With a lifeguard on duty, plenty of sun loungers & even a dedicated changing, toilet & shower block, it was an excellent place to escape the Córdoba heat. Free beach towels were also provided. Our 4th floor room was large, quiet & very comfortable. The only slight issue for us was the bathroom, where a walk-in shower would have been preferable as getting in & out of the bath to use the shower was a little awkward. We enjoyed a very good meal in the hotel’s large restaurant on our first evening, making the most of the convenience of dining on site. Our only real criticism was the lack of complimentary bottled water in the room or a water cooler in reception. With temperatures exceeding 40°C during our stay, easy access to chilled drinking water would have been particularly welcome. Overall, the Parador de Córdoba provided a memorable stay in a fantastic setting!"
Hesperia Córdoba
"Beautiful hotel Felt very clean and parking was easy Staff very attentive"

For those seeking unique experiences, boutique hotels could provide a more personalised stay and possibly offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average, and if it appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest alternative, more affordable dates to help you potentially find a more attractive deal.
