Loved the room. TV was huge, as wide as my bed 😁. Room did have a fishy smell initially and there little flies in the bathroom. The view of the beach was wonderful from the balcony. The hotel provides free use of the washer/dryer and the people at the convenient store are really friendly. Wonderful place, would stay again

The whole front desk was nice and provided excellent service during our entire stay except for the manager I encountered while checking out in 7/11/25. Checking out on the morning of 7/11/25 I was told I needed to pay 20,000 won for a room key that was somewhere in the family suite we stayed in. I told him we were in a hurry to a flight and he demanded 20,000 for a plastic room card. Made me feel like a scam before leaving an otherwise very pleasant stay. Hope they don’t do this to future patrons as it lost the 5 stars I gave while I was there. I have a copy of the receipt for the plastic room card which they will find in the room while cleaning. He was a bigger guy wearing glasses that I also have a picture of to be cautious of for future guest

루프탑 스위트룸을 이용했는데 뷰도 좋고 시설도 깔끔해서 좋았습니다. 저희는 6인이 묶었는데 화장실이 하나라 불편했습니다. 4인가족이 묶기에는 좋을것 같습니다 ^^

20년 만에 혼자 대천 해수욕장을 방문했습니다. 보령터미널에서 내려서 100번 버스를 타니깐 금방 오더군요. 하운드 호텔은 우연히 네이버 블로그에서 혼자 다녀온 다른 관광객의 리뷰를 읽다가 발코니에서 바다를 볼 수 있다는 정보에 바로 예약까지 했습니다. 실제로 방문을 해보니 감탄을 금치 못했습니다. 진짜 아무 생각 없이 멍하니 발코니에서 바다만 봤는데 정말 좋았습니다. 아무래도 비수기 때 오니 더 조용하고 편하게 있었던 거 같습니다. 사장님으로 보이는 직원 분도 정말 친절했으며 호텔에 어지간한 건 다 구비 되어 있더군요. 1층엔 편의점과 레스토랑도 있었습니다. 그리고 욕조도 있어서 바다 구경하다가 탕에서 따뜻하게 몸도 녹였습니다. 조금 아쉬웠던 점은 청소하는 직원들이 외국인으로 보이던데 침대 시트 같은 것을 잘 갈고 꼼꼼하게 청소하는지 감독은 하셔야 할 거 같습니다. 아무튼 편하게 쉬다가 왔습니다. 대천에 다시 여행가면 재방문 하겠습니다.
