The Belsfield Hotel
"Excellent service. Top notch quality. Everything about it was so great and convenient. Special thanks to the reception team, has always been there for any needs. Cleaning crew has done housekeeping multiple times in our stay without even requesting. Clean towels, carpets, curtains, toiletries. It was the best hotel experience for us in a long time. We will surely be back Belsfield. Thanks to Charlie and the other reception team (didn’t catch his name but wears spectacles) for being such an amazing host. Thank you"
Beech Hill Hotel & Spa
"Excellent stay, bar lovely, room very nice and clean, food excellent for price, spa nice"
The Angel Inn - The Inn Collection Group
"The Angel Inn was lovely and the staff couldn't have been nicer. There were some free things when using their app which were welcome. The inclusive breakfast was great and the location in Windermere was excellent allowing us to walk around the town and to the shore of the lake for boat trips. The rooms were very small even for one person so I think 2 might be challenging and the parking is not sufficient for all guests so it was hit or miss whether you got a space. Highly recommended though."
Lakes Hotel and Spa
"Great location & views from the hotel, short walk from the Lakes. Specious room. Food menu is good. Nice staff. We hired eBikes, Oliver was really helpful. Reception was quick easy check-in. Can't fault anything about the stay."
Howbeck Guest House
"Lovely room, great location"
Windermere Manor Hotel
"I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!"

"A superb hotel. Wonderful location with a fabulous terrace with views across Windermere. Great staff, lovely room and food was amazing. Perfect overnight trip"
Macdonald Old England Hotel & Spa
"Excellent location - right by the lake. Lovely breakfast. All the staff were very helpful- especially Sandra who was excellent. Thank you for a lovely stay! Would certainly recommend this hotel."

Moreover, the Smart Shopping tool available via the app helps travellers compare hotel prices and amenities, keeping you informed about potential opportunities to save. Stay updated with email alerts or push notifications for flash sales and special promotions, ensuring you're more likely to see a timely offer if availability or prices change.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on various factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates could help you find a more affordable stay in a Windermere hotel. If you're in search of something distinctive, boutique hotels may provide a more personalised experience and occasionally offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we can suggest alternative dates that may help you find a more favourable rate.
- Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre usually tend to be pricier, but thanks to Windermere's superb public transport links, you might discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
