Gargee Grand Patna
"Location is good room is clean. Food options are less need to improve"
Taj City Centre Patna
"Truly Amazing property, really outstanding!! A very new and gleaming hotel, but not impersonal and feels warm and inviting. Room is outstanding, the usual very high Taj hotel quality bed (best ever), spotless bathroom, stunning roof-top pool, and nice (free) sauna and steam room attached. I had the evening buffet and, honestly, it was one of the best meals I have ever had in a long time in India, and I've stayed in hundreds of five-stars for work and pleasure, many in India. The price is so absurdly low, for any Western visitors, it makes it unbelievable value. I thought it was a mistake first, when I was also getting breakfast included (that was also superb). You would pay at least five times the price for this quality room and food in my home country. All staff great. Only down-side was that it's not near the more historical part of the city. I thought I would get a chance to visit the famous Gurudwaras, between flights, but not enough time, with traffic etc. But only minutes from the new Patna airport which is amazing and so easy to get around as not too busy yet. A great gateway location for sure."
Hotel Sharda Residency
"1. Room was absolutely sparkling clean - towels, bed linen, floors, table chairs - all very clean 2. Dinner was very good, breakfast was ok. 3. Service was excellent - gentleman at reception was very efficient and kind. As a solo woman traveller, i felt safe and comfortable"

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Patna
- Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly time to visit Patna is during April, June, and September, when hotel prices tend to be lower. To make the most of your trip, it is advisable to stay for at least 2 to 3 days to fully appreciate the city's rich cultural heritage, historical landmarks, and natural attractions. During your visit, you can explore significant sites such as temples, museums, churches, and the picturesque natural parks, while enjoying activities like boating along the river or playing golf. This approach ensures a memorable experience without straining your wallet, making it a great value for money.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: For Patna hotel bookings on Hotels.com, you may discover attractive discounts by exploring DealsOpens in a new window and Last-Minute Deals sections, where rates on hotels near your travel date could be reduced. By enabling email alerts or push notifications, you're more likely to see flash sales and special promotions, ensuring you stay updated on price drops and room availability. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available via the app allows travellers to compare hotel prices and amenities effectively for a last-minute getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your dates might help you save on your stay in a Patna hotel. For those seeking distinctive experiences, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised atmosphere and might offer better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average, and if it appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest alternative, potentially more affordable dates to help you find a better deal.
- Consider your location: Opting to stay closer to major attractions or city centres may offer convenience, but it often comes with a higher price tag. For more budget-friendly options, you might consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and accessibility to the sites you wish to visit. Additionally, exploring independent hotels a bit further out could provide a more authentic experience that is usually more likely to be affordable.
