ACE Hotel Poitiers
"Friendly check in, but chap had to keep running out to stop folk/clients parking in the delivery area, including me. Large clean room for three adults, with great ensuite. Hotel right next door to a McD's, which could be handy, did have the police cruise through their car park around 8pm as we arrived, but no issues. Only issue we had was parking, car park full, there was free street parking outside hotel complex, but I managed to squeeze my car into their car park, prefer this than street parking when all luggage left in car. I feel there were quite a few trade vehicles (vans) filling the car park, as fair bit of building going on around the area. Would stay again as good location, many shops & restaurants not too fat away, so if you need a bit of shopping too, good location. Quiet at night, so good sleep."

"Everything was good, nothing bad to mention. Not too easy to find the lobby though but we found out Staff very helpful. Hotel.com obliges to leave more words than I want. I will stop giving feedback . Bad design"
Séjours & Affaires Poitiers Lamartine
"All staff very affable and helpful. Breakfast far bettrr than the Danish pastries whereas in fact there was a good choice of healthy cereals. Breakfast far better than the advert on the breakfast room door, which makes the meal appear as if is composed of rather unhealthy food s"
Green Hôtels Poitiers
"Un tres bon sejour au Green Hotel de Poitiers. Tres propre, tres bien equipe. Staff tres sympathique et serviable. Je recommende"
Hotel Central
"The room was very clean and comfortable, we had a room with on the top foot with a Balcony overlooking the square. Staff were lovely."
ibis Poitiers Centre
"The hotel was pleasant and ideally located, making it a convenient base for our stay. However, the rooms were quite small, and we felt that the number of towels provided was insufficient. The lady on reception when we arrived was very friendly and helpful, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the staff when we checked out seemed rather uninterested and disengaged, which was disappointing and they looked like we had just woke them up. The reception area could also benefit from some attention, particularly the carpets, which appeared dirty and had a large, noticeable stain. This detracted from the overall appearance and didn’t create the most welcoming first impression. Although the location was convenient, the surrounding area didn’t feel particularly safe at night and it was very noisy outside Overall, the hotel was fine for a short stay, but improvements to cleanliness, room amenities and customer service would make a noticeable difference to the guest experience."
Ibis Styles Poitiers Centre
"We booked a Standard Double Room, 1 Double Bed with Sofa bed. The room was a unique version of that, set out on its own peninsula within the building, with no neighbouring rooms, and far from the elevator. Very quiet, and a very comfortable bed. Wi-fi not as quick as other Accor properties, but adequate for needs. Parking entrance is opposite side of the building from the lobby entrance, ad has a very narrow opening and a tight curved ramp down under the building. Tons of space once down the ramp, and the elevator is there too so no humping luggage up on stairs. Breakfast was okay, but not in the same league as at other hotels in France. Good enough though, and a great sleep. Would stay in that exact room again. Convient for walking everywhere downtown."
Mercure Poitiers Centre
"Lovely hotel with an excellent restaurant attached. Our room was lovely, but as we were given a room with the bedroom on a mezzanine level with a spiral staircase, it wouldn’t be ideal for older travellers, as the bathroom and your luggage is on the ground floor."
Aparthotel Adagio Access Poitiers
"A good location to stay for Poitiers - it's close to the train station & there is a shortcut from the hotel to the city centre. Very comfortable bed, good facilities & spacious room with good shower. Friendly staff - would stay here again. Also breakfast was good."

For those looking to explore the city's historical landmarks, cultural sites, and architectural marvels, a stay of at least 1 to 2 days is recommended. This duration allows visitors to appreciate notable attractions such as the stunning cathedral, charming churches, and fascinating monuments. Additionally, budget-friendly options for tours and natural parks make Poitiers a great value for money destination, providing ample opportunities for memorable experiences without breaking the bank.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: For travellers heading to Poitiers, you may discover attractive hotel deals by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window section on Hotels.com. - Be flexible with dates: Prices may differ depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your dates could help you save on your stay in a Poitiers hotel. For those seeking unique experiences, boutique hotels may offer a more personalised experience and sometimes better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average; if it appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest more affordable dates to help you find a better deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels situated closer to the city centre usually tend to be more expensive, yet thanks to Poitiers's excellent public transport links, you might discover a more affordable independent hotel further afield that remains well connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less congested neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money. Opting for these alternative destinations can provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
