We used to stay at this property when it was The Shore Inn in the 1990's and 2000's. In 2008 the new owners let the place go downhill, and we didn't return to Rehoboth Beach for 18 years. The renovation to the property and the rooms were incredible. New bathrooms, with a large walk in shower, new flooring-- everything new. The bed was comfortable. The only negatives-- the front desk is at the next property, and I had to walk over to get the parking pass to place in our car. They said they'd bring it over, but we had dinner reservations, and I didn't want to wait. Also with no breakfast, they mentioned free coffee at the Brewery next door- but that did not open until 11am. A short twenty minute walk to town and many good restaurants. For gay nightlife, Diego's is right across the street, and Aqua (15 minute walk) had a fun Happy Hour.

The hotel was very well maintained. The parking lot got very full at night and it was even difficult to get a spot some evenings. My biggest complaint is that the hotel was very noisy - not the hotels fault - but something I would want to know as a guest. The guests on the top floor were very inconsiderate, banging, slamming doors, stomping, etc until after 1am which made it hard to fall asleep. Better insulation in the rooms would help with this. The hotel didn’t make it clear (or maybe I missed it) that we had to check in down the street at their sister hotel. This was a surprise to us. Overall it was a good stay… very clean, very nice renovation of an older hotel and good location .

The room was very nice. Check in/out was very easy. Very close to attractions and restaurants. The room was listed as a studio king. It was the smallest king bed I've ever seen, but comfortable. It would have been nice to have a coffee maker in the room instead of having to go out to get it, but if that's my only complaint I don't think that's too bad.

Great location and very clean rooms. The bed, pillows, and thick towels were all very comfortable. Complimentary coffee is available from 8–11am at Revolution Brew, and the single‑serve Keurig is perfect for a morning boost before heading out for breakfast. The only downside is the pocket doors—they aren’t soft‑close, so they slide quickly and slam loudly, which you can hear throughout the building. Light sleepers may notice this along with some traffic noise. Our bathroom door didn’t lock because the strike plate had been damaged, and although we reported the broken toilet handle in room 204, no one came to fix either issue. The hotel notes that housekeeping isn’t provided daily, but stays longer than four days receive a tidy—no one came, and we used the same towels for six days. Revelation Brew was definitely a bonus to have so close, perfect for both a delicious beer and wood‑fired pizza, & great staff! Aside from the bathroom door issue, I am hopeful they will find a way to mitigate that issue - it would be worth it for them to do so, we would stay again because it is so clean and is in a great location.

Our room was clean, bed was very comfortable, parking was right in front of room. We felt safe, walking distance to restaurants and stores, 2 minutes from beach with driving, u could walk or ride a bike, the property and room was up to date and good and calm vibe. I didn’t see staff. I choose self check in. Received texts messages and code to room, the way point left robes , beach towels, and umbrella for convenience with ur stay. I choose not use them. Maybe for a longer stay. Air conditioning work so good. We had a great stay.

Very clean and comfortable. Issues are it is close to main road, but pretty quiet till 530 or 6 a.m.. then u here construction trucks and motorcycles starting up from the traffic light across from property. No microwave, coffee maker or access to hot water for tea in room or on premises. They supply 2 nice beach towels (and a beach umbrella- but our room didn't have it, be careful cuz they may think u took it and charge you) and robes. Would rather have microwave or coffemaker, rather than dealing with traffic to get a cup of coffee or tea. You are on the main street, which is very busy.
