We returned to La torre this year hoping it would be as great as our visit last year. Sure did not disappoint! We only wish we could have stayed a few days more! The setting is amazing and the food and ambiance only adds to that. We truly love this place. Can’t wait to visit again!

You will not regret booking with La Torre Sulla Via Francigena! We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Everyone was welcoming, kind, and helpful from the moment we arrived. The location is beautiful, the rooms are stunning, the whole experience felt relaxing and special. Would 100% recommend it to anyone visiting Tuscany.

Everything about La Torre was amazing, it was beautiful, clean, romantic, everything we wished for and more. The food was terrific, the atmosphere was perfect, and everyone was so friendly. Cannot wait to come back and stay! Thank you Angus!

From the minute we drove up, we were immediately welcomed by one of the owners. Personal Touch! All staff were attentive, accommodating and engaged. Made our visit very comfortable and relaxing. Loved it.

The hotel feels brand new and all the features and little additions to the room feel additive and nothing feels as though they cut corners. Breakfast was excellent with new options each day. Think freshly baked quiches, cakes, pancakes etc. the mixed nuts are really nice with the yogurt. The grounds are stunning and clearly will improve over time. We had their Tuscan feast one night and it was delicious. There are some running and hiking trails right outside the hotel. As it's so new it should improve over time as there are some features the owners are still adding. The staff and owners were all lovely and it felt like a small bespoke hotel where they really know you. Would recommend coming here for sure.

10/10 - amazing!

We travel a lot and this is one of the nicest places we’ve ever visited. As in most places in Tuscany, the countryside is beautiful. La torre makes it even more so. Carefully renovated by the amazing owners, Scott & Angus, the rooms, pool, garden and wine yard is perfect for a getaway. When we booked we didn’t know that we would experience a movie night under the Tuscan stars with wine and a fully stocked picnic basket. Or a pizza night (with delicious starters and dessert) next to the barn. Memories for years to come. . We stayed in the upupa room and the bed was super comfortable. Great attention to details in the interior and our terrace. (Please notice that this room does not have a door to the toilet.) We cannot wait to come back again! We are going to miss your food Angus!

My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of staying at La Torre sulla via Francigena for a week this summer, and it was one of the most memorable and relaxing vacations ever. The location is absolutely stunning – set in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, it offers breathtaking views and a truly unique and peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are not only spotlessly clean, but also beautifully decorated, featuring charming and artistic mosaic designs on the walls that make each room feel special. The food is fantastic! Every morning we were treated to a fresh and delicious breakfast, with plenty of options including omelets, pancakes, scrambled eggs, eggs and bacon, and more. They also host amazing pizza nights and even outdoor movie dinners under the stars – such a magical experience! The staff are incredibly kind, warm, and helpful. Their hospitality really made us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our stay. The service was top-notch in every way. The outdoor area is a dream – the pool and garden are beautifully maintained, perfect for unwinding and soaking in the serene surroundings. You really feel like you can disconnect and relax here. They also produce their own wine on-site, which you can purchase and take home – a lovely and delicious souvenir. I highly recommend renting a car, as it gives you the freedom to explore the area. Don’t miss a visit to San Gimignano, Volterra and Siena. Will definitely come back!
