"We appreciated the location which provided great walkability to all interesting points. We enjoyed the restaurant and had a delicious gourmet dinner. "Rooms were clean, breakfast and lounge was well stocked and the staff were polite and helpful. The location is easy to get anywhere and though no parking, they have some discount while parking at the Waverly station car park. There's a lot of scaffolding and elevators are limited due to construction"

"The only complaint - and it’s probable because I’m American and not used to it - but the water pressure for the shower was … less than desirable. Just took a while for it to get up to a decent pressure to actually be useful. Other than that, I quite enjoyed the stay."

Britannia Hotel Edinburgh

Britannia Hotel Edinburgh

8/10 Good
"Friendly pleasant staff especially at front of house, overall not a bad stay factoring in the price & proximity to the city centre we were quite pleased with our stay. The only thing that really stuck out to us was that the whole area around the food buffet/dining area on the hard floor was very sticky. Apart from that, the rest of public areas were clean & tidy, the room was clean & pleasant. There are some negative reviews on the property & i can kind of see where they maybe coming from as other people's views/expectations can vary slighlty, but atleast from our stay i have to give a positive review & we would return again in the future."
