"The place truly felt like a retreat. Everything felt homely and the staff are all beyond friendly you feel at home. The had a well maintained pool with a beautiful fireplace lit every night it wasn’t raining just next. If I had more time in hazyview I would definitely be spending it here. The restaurant was also exceptional. Super tasty food and also were extremely knowledgeable about gluten free which made it easy for my wife with celiac to eat here comfortably and well aswell. Couldn’t rate the place high enough."

The views of the surrounding valley and mountains are great and add to the experience. Amenities were very good and breakfast was very good. Overall experience was rewarding. "Kruger park was only about 20 minutes away by drive. All of the staff were wonderful. So friendly. Whatever you wanted, they would get for you. I couldn’t single out one staff member because they were all perfect. The suites are gorgeous and spotless with a wonderful view of the Sabe River. The food was excellent and so plentiful. I couldn’t think of a better place to stay to get to Kruger and experience the game drives. The drivers were excellent and it was easy to see their love for the animals and nature of South Africa. Highly recommend."
