Le Mourillon
Le Mourillon's four pristine beaches linked by a palm-lined coastal path are a sun-seeker's dream come true. This charming area keeps one foot in authentic French Riviera life while offering all the waterfront perks. Fort Saint-Louis stands watch on the peninsula while colourful Provençal markets bring local flavours right to your fingertips. Seafood restaurants line the waterfront serving fresh catch and Mediterranean classics. You'll find boutique hotels and seaside apartments with stunning bay views. The area is easily explored on foot with dedicated coastal paths, though summer brings crowds to this otherwise peaceful retreat.

Old Town Toulon
Old Town Toulon weaves medieval charm through narrow cobblestone streets where 11th-century architecture meets Mediterranean vibes. The colourful Cours Lafayette market buzzes with locals buying fresh produce and Provençal goods. History buffs will appreciate the Toulon Cathedral and Naval Museum, while art lovers can explore the Theatre Liberte and local galleries. Traditional bistros serve mouthwatering bouillabaisse and regional wines throughout the district. Most exploration happens on foot through the pedestrian-friendly lanes, though regional buses connect to modern Toulon when needed. Boutique hotels and family-run B&Bs in honey-colored buildings offer authentic accommodation with traditional Provençal décor.

ibis budget Toulon Centre
"La proximité du port de Toulon et du marché"
Grand Hôtel Dauphiné Toulon, Boutique Hôtel & Suites
"Perfect location. Very helpful staff. Great rooftop pool. Good soundproofing from outdoor noise but less so from internal noise. Housekeeping left something to be desired. Also, bathroom and shower poorly laid out - would be easy to fall. Would stay again."
OKKO Hotels Toulon Centre
"Un décor plaisant ,fonctionnel . Le personnel de la réception est exceptionnel,très dévoué . L’aperitivo ,et les boissons offertes ,un plus !"
Best Western Plus La Corniche
"Would recommend bringing your own hairdryer. The small fridge is not meant for cooling down more than a couple of bottles of water. Lovely bed, balcony and bathroom. Amazing staff."
ibis Styles Toulon Centre Port
"Staff at reception were very helpful and welcoming and explained there was a theme night that night, reservation only, with free tapas and live music. Unfortunately having been involved in a major motorcycle accident the day before I just needed a bed otherwise free food would always draw me in!! Great location and loved the free multi function water dispenser on the room floor level near the lift. Highly recommend this one to anyone who isn't as majorly sore all over like I was !! Neck not broken and bike still rideable so carrying on with the rest of my epic 27,000 mile bike trip!"
Holiday Inn Toulon City Centre by IHG
"Clean hotel. Only stayed one night, so didn't use any facilities. But decent room for decent price"
Hôtel L'Eautel Toulon Port
"It is a nice hotel but IMO doesn’t deliver a 4-star property. Perfectly located in central Toulon by the harbour"
Hotel Amirauté
"Super friendly and great breakfast"
B&B HOTEL Toulon Centre Gare
"Clean, comfortable room. Walkable to town and the port. Adequate breakfast."
