Cotswolds Hotel & Spa
"Good location for travelling around the Oxford/Gloucestershire Cotswolds. Hotel was very clean and staff were friendly however, it lacked atmosphere and ambience. We didn’t have breakfast but we did have an evening meal which was okay! Rooms had tea/coffee making facilities but no fridge. Short drive into Chipping Norton and Broadway, Stow on the Wold and Bourton on the Water all in close proximity."
Oxford Belfry Hotel & Spa
"Great hotel, and great leisure facilities"
Mercure Oxford Eastgate Hotel
"On arrival the staff were welcoming and informed us of timings for breakfast, were to go and what to do if we needed anything. When asked about dining out, gave us a list of places where we could go."
Hampton by Hilton Oxford

"👍"
Ramada by Wyndham Oxford
"This was our second stay, and we enjoy coming to this hotel because it’s close, convenient and generally a pleasant place to stay. The rooms are fresh and clean, the staff are okay, and the buffet breakfast has a good selection. Unfortunately, our second visit was disappointing because the TV remote wasn’t working. A member of staff came to change the batteries, but what should have been a simple issue turned into a lengthy process of trying to get the TV working. It took far too long and disrupted what should have been a relaxing stay. The aim of any hotel stay should be to make things as seamless and comfortable as possible for guests, and unfortunately, on this occasion that wasn’t the case. Would I stay here again? **Maybe.** The location and cleanliness are definite positives, but I would hope for a smoother experience next time."
The George Hotel, Dorchester-on-Thames
"Staff were so helpful, friendly and accommodating. At check in immediately felt welcome. We travelled with our large breed dog and she was embraced by all the staff. Our dog friendly room was very spacious, spotlessly clean and very well appointed. The hotel had a relaxed feel and more than met our hope for a stress free getaway. As the weather has been exceptionally warm, we really appreciated that outdoor seating areas, well into the evening. Hotel perfectly situated in a friendly village, surrounded by easily accessible great walks Really good value for money, would most definitely book to stay again"
voco Oxford Spires by IHG
"Nice bed. Rooms are on the small side. Bathroom was good size and had a tall bathtub. We loved the room view if the horse sanctuary (6-8 horses) roaming around on the sanctuary, right in front our window. Nice restaurant and bar. Nice pool. "
Horwood House Hotel
"A lovely property. Wish I had known that there was no AC. A fan was not enough to keep the room cool in August!"

For those seeking distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels often offer a more personalised experience and can sometimes provide better value. - Consider your location: Staying nearer to key attractions or city centres can offer convenience, but it often comes with higher costs. For more affordable options, you might consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between price and accessibility to the sites you intend to visit.
