Holiday Inn Basildon by IHG
"Clean and well appointed, quiet despite the location. It would have been helpful to know parking isn’t free. Check in took a little while as well but I arrived at a busy point. Staff were nice."
Mercure Maidstone Great Danes Hotel
"Not let down and convenient location for onward travel to ferry/euro tunnel. Seem to have had a problem re motorbike thefts so staff offered location directly opposite reception with cctv camera as storage area for bikes was full."
King Charles Hotel
"Good rooms and very friendly, helpful staff. Lovely breakfast and great location"
ABode Canterbury
"We like the convenience of the hotel and the beds and rooms are nicely clean and the cleaning staff very friendly and helpful. However the reception staff are not that friendly and will ignore you unless you speak directly to them. I am unused to that in a hotel reception. It would be good if they were more welcoming and proactively pleasant. And although the breakfast is included it is just cereal and breads. The full breakfast is a bit of a disappointment and I recommend going elsewhere."
Ashford International Hotel & Spa
"From check in to check out a wonderful experience. Food in the restaurant was beautiful, breakfast buffet maybe could do with more choice. The spa facilities were very good, although the facial treatment I received, I thought overpriced for 20mins. Overall the cleanliness, staff, location were perfect Will definitely book again."
The Inn on the Lake Hotel
"Obviously could do with an upgrade as rooms are quite dated. However nice spot with patio doors onto the lake and everything that was needed in the room inc ceiling fan which was helpful. Breakfast ok however burger at dinner was awful."
Hempstead House Hotel
"Lovely overnight stay, all of the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly."
Village Hotel Maidstone
"Brilliant place for excellence"

You're more likely to see attractive offers by enabling email alerts or push notifications for flash sales. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool in the app helps you compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you stay informed on price drops and available rooms.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your dates might help you save on your stay at a Sittingbourne hotel. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised stay and may sometimes offer better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. Should the price appear on the higher side, we might suggest more affordable dates to help you potentially find a more attractive option.
- Consider your location: Remaining closer to key attractions or city centres may offer convenience, but it usually comes at a higher cost. For more affordable rates, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, balancing price with ease of access to the places you plan to visit. You might explore independent hotels further afield, which can more likely be affordable and provide a more authentic experience.
