Udaan Himalayan Suites and Spa
"This property is great. Good rooms, new, big restaurent, and very courteous and pleasant staff. I will recommend this hotel. There is only one negative is that it opens up into busy street but it has a nearby parking which helps a lot"
Ivanhoe Hotel A Heritage Property
"It is an excellent place to stay if you are not looking for a classical style "Hotel". It has a very warm and ready-to-please Staff - only 8 of them to manage all ten rooms. It is a heritage Property with all the quaintness and old-world charm in terms of the building and furnishings etc. It has a feeling of a large Homestay with very personalised Service. Recently renovated and therefore still needs some "De-bugging" I would recommend it if you are looking for a warm and stay"
Udaan Dekeling Resort Darjeeling
"The property was well maintained and 15mins walking distance to the mall road. The rooms was nicely done with modern style, although more wardrobe space could be given. The Balcony view was amazing, with Singalila national park on the left and the might Mt. Kanchenjunga on the right. The restaurant was fully vegetarian, which was great for us, with amazing breakfast buffet options, lunch, snacks and dinner choices. The food was amazing. The staff, specially Abhinay at the Reception and Krishan in the restaurant took great care of us. The whole staff was polite, courteous and always asked if we needed anything during the stay."
Windamere Hotel

Echo Hotel and Spa
"Helping Staff, best view from room, of an valley."
Hotel Basera
"Food is excellent, and staff are very very good"
Sterling Darjeeling
"Sterling Darjeeling is a great place to stay for a trip to the area. The location is much better than anything close to the mall. You can avoid all the traffic and noise of central Darjeeling. Views of the valley and surround mountains are great. The staff is very helpful. If you’re traveling from the airport, you will get to the property much faster (hours) than any place close to the mall because of all the traffic even though it’s only a few kilometers away. I would highly recommend Sterling Darjeeling."
Planter's Heritage by Cilantro Collections - Mall Road
"The staff were great. The location was perfect and close to main Darjeeling mall. The floors in the room and multiple junctions in the lobby area are uneven which may cause discomfort and extra attention especially for elderly people."
Sinclairs Darjeeling
"Family friendlly, Delicious Breakfast"

A stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended to fully appreciate the town’s rich collection of landmarks, historical sites and cultural attractions, including hiking, temples, sunrise views, mountain scenery, natural parks, excursions, university tours, rock climbing and the beauty of local flowers.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover last-minute deals to Darjeeling, begin by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted hotel rates as your travel date approaches. Consider enabling email alerts or push notifications from Hotels.com to stay informed about flash sales and exclusive last-minute promotions, helping you seize opportunities to save. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you’re more likely to find the best options. You'll be promptly notified if prices drop or rooms become available, making it easier to secure your getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate based on various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could help you find a more favourable rate for your stay in a Darjeeling hotel. For those seeking unique accommodations, boutique hotels may provide a more personalised experience and potentially better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we'll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price leans towards the higher end, we can suggest alternative dates that might offer a more attractive rate.
- Consider your location: Opting for accommodation nearer to key attractions or city centres may offer convenience, but it often comes with increased costs. For more budget-friendly options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between price and accessibility to the sites you wish to visit. You might also look into independent hotels located further afield, which are usually more likely to be affordable and can provide a more authentic experience.
