If you’re looking for a beautiful place to stay in Mammoth, this is it. The new Limelight Hotel is stunning! The lobby has such a great energy with its bar and lounge, and the staff made us feel right at home from check-in to check-out.
Our room was huge and the design felt very high-end yet comfortable. It’s so nice to finally have a resort of this caliber in town. We loved every minute and are already planning our next trip. Highly recommend if you want a mix of luxury and mountain charm!

The property was warm and comfortable I wish we could have had more time there. I will say now that it's snow season it is out of our reach in pricing. The hotel is beautiful and a wonderful addition to mammoth

Convenient amenity like ski valet and storage, a stair walk down straight to the Village gondola. Facility is very new, great vibe at the 1st floor area to hang and grab drink

New and clean, friendly staff , fantastic amenities, great breakfast!
Only feedback less than perfect 10’s was
1) it was a too long cold walk to get to the heated hot tubs and pool at far end of property (no access through owned units section)
2) t though the gondola is just right across the street. They’re way too many stairs to get to ground level and there’s no crosswalk.if you’re in ski boots it’s challenging so we ended up driving to the ski lodges

Nice new hotel in Mammoth lakes… liked that they included a buffet breakfast… hotel staff was helpful & friendly, except 1 snowboarder valet that had a negative comment about Roberto’s… rooms are nice & clean… king mattress was a little uncomfortable for some reason… think the floor under the bed was uneven and slightly sloped at a odd angle

Room was in great condition, however housekeeping did not do a good job cleaning the room, staff has really bad customer service ( some were rude, some just lazy) didn’t offer help carrying our luggage, ski concierge drop our skis and didn’t even apologize, waiter drop a pizza on the table and left it there without even cleaning it or offering to bring another one, hotel has great potential however they need to train their staff better!

Clean room. Very friendly and approachable staff every where. Our waiter was really nice, especially with our toddler. He made sure she was entertained while we wait for our food. Everyone and everything was great and we would stay here again. The only thing we didn’t like was the light fixture/chandelier in our room — it was hanging too low. My husband 5’11’’ accidentally bumped his head multiple times on the light (it was painful!). Hope they hang higher to avoid injuries.

Excellent location and great use of space in the rooms but lots of opening jitters to work out. Free breakfast is nice but often not enough silverware and food replenishment is slow. One of the most frustrating is that you cannot find a trash can anywhere downstairs but in a bathroom. Not in the food area and not near the lobby. Staff were trying real hard to make everyone happy but needs more guidance. Overall great location and hotel but I wouldn’t consider it a five star but comparable to a Hyatt or Marriott.

Room had crumbs on the seating area, long dark hairs on the ground in the water closet and dirty underwear left under a bed. Staff came to get it (unprepared and had to ask for tissue to pick up the undergarments) but did nothing else to ensure the room was up to standard.
We asked for 1.5-2 hrs of late checkout on a Tuesday in March and hoped they would accommodate given the underwear issue but the staff didn’t put 2 and 2 together. Other higher end properties would have.
Restaurant is solid. Breakfast has good variety and dining staff was attentive. Salad portion was great and the burger was very good. So nice to have dinner without leaving the property after a long day on the slopes. Great kid area next to the restaurant so kids can play while adults eat!
Short walk to the gondola with access to the canyon lodge. Ski locker available for use was great!
Valet staff was very helpful with ski gear and check-in & check-out. They were also very friendly

The new hotel is nice, the rooms are well-appointed, and I enjoyed the little kitchenette. Hot tubs and pool were good, the gym was sufficient for the couple of times I used it. The ski valet room was nice, very close and easy to get to the gondola in the morning.
Staff could be a bit friendlier; many made no eye contact or said hello, good morning, especially during breakfast, which I found odd. Even when answering the phone or talking at the front desk, tell me your name. "Hi, I'm so and so, how may I help you?" Maybe it's me, at a higher price point, it just seems like a given to offer up.
Most annoying point was that Hotels.com's site said parking is free, and it is definitely not, in the valet only. An additonal $35 ontop of everything else. Limelight says they are aware and will try to address that. After paying a premium for the room, it was annoying to discover there were additional charges.
I would definitely stay here again. 100% ask for an East-facing room, or you will be staring at the parking lot and/or the Westin Hotel. If you make a request or note on Hotels.com I was told the Limelight does not see it, FYI.
Overall good experience, weeks old spot, plenty of time to improve. What a hotel in Mammoth should be.
